[UPDATE] Bear stuck in Colorado Springs tree euthanized after rescue

The bear stuck in a tree at a mobile home park yesterday in South East Colorado Springs was tranquilized and removed from the tree that morning. However, we have received word that the bear was later euthanized because she suffered from a compound leg fracture. The fracture was attributed to being hit by a moving vehicle some time the Tuesday night before or Wednesday morning.
